Couple Session I Hannah & Wade Askew

About 3 months has passed since shelter in place and so much has happened. Life has continued and I loose track of how time has passed. Amongst the pandemic, racial injustice, police brutality, the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, Dion Johnson, and the state of our nation and leadership, it’s at many times hard to see hope in our world. All I can do is pray and hope that God is working within and through all of us right now. And trust God must be doing something. One way I’ve seen and experienced God’s goodness during these hard times is by being able to witness a little piece of Hannah and Wade’s life during a socially distanced maternity photo session. I’m thankful and honored they asked if I could help document them during these times before their baby is born. We both were able to relate during these times of COVID of processing through a loss. Craig and I loss our original wedding day celebration with friends and family. Hannah and Wade loss their vision of what it would be like to celebrate their new baby with friends and family before the baby would be born. Though in these losses, I pray and hope we can continue to be reminded we are not in this alone. We are all in this together.

Thank you to Wade and Hannah for letting me share these photos I took of them. Hope you enjoy them as much as I had the pleasure of capturing these special and unique times for them.
